Kia ora, I’m Cynthia

I am a Registered Nurse with a long career supporting children, families and health professionals across the Waikato.

For over two decades I served as CEO and Nurse Specialist at True Colours Children’s Health Trust, working closely with tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau living with complex health needs.

Today I focus on providing professional supervision, coaching and mentoring for professionals who value thoughtful reflection, professional growth and supportive guidance.

A Guiding Philosophy

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi engari he toa takitini
My strength is not that of an individual but that of the collective.

Supporting people in meaningful work requires connection, reflection and community. Cynthia’s approach is grounded in creating a respectful space where individuals feel supported to grow, reflect and move forward with confidence.

Professional Supervision

Professional supervision provides a confidential space to reflect on your work, explore challenges and strengthen professional practice.

Through supervision, individuals can develop insight, build resilience and maintain wellbeing while working in demanding or complex roles.

This work supports professionals to stay connected to their values, purpose and professional integrity.

Coaching and Mentoring

Coaching and mentoring provide an opportunity to step back, reflect and gain clarity about personal and professional direction.

Together we explore experiences, challenges and opportunities for growth in a respectful and supportive environment.

This process can help strengthen confidence, decision-making and leadership while supporting sustainable and healthy professional practice.

A Lifetime Supporting Others

Cynthia’s work has been shaped by many years in healthcare leadership and community service.

Her experience includes:

  • CEO and Nurse Specialist at True Colours Children’s Health Trust for 21 years

  • 13 years working with Hospice Waikato
